DIY kits use lower-grade film and carry a real risk of bubbles and poor adhesion, particularly on curved glass. For a result that lasts and looks the part, professional installation is always worth it.
We recommend leaving windows closed for a minimum of three to five days while the adhesive fully cures. Some small water pockets or a slight haze are normal during this period and will disappear on their own. This is not a defect.
Yes, within the legal limits. UK law requires front side windows to allow at least 70% of light through and the windscreen at least 75%. Rear windows and the rear windscreen have no legal minimum. TwilightTint always confirms the correct legal limits for every panel before any work begins and we never apply film that would take your vehicle outside the law. If you are unsure, simply ask us when you request your quote and we will advise you clearly.
